Frame from 5′57″: Mark Enslin performs a piece entitled Sonata Quijada. Day one at the first Summer School for Designing a Society. The piece explores the dynamics of the propaganda war in Chile during the build-up to the coup d’état of 1973 that put Augusto Pinochet in power.

Frame from 13′08″: Herbert Brün, speaking about the Heuristics class he co-taught with Heinz Von Foerster in 197?. Herbert goes on to describe the assignment of formulating one’s desires as “false statements”, which was first tried during the Heuristics class, and was repeated at the Summer School in 1993.
